Concept
I was given a single month to learn Radiant from scratch in Black Ops 3 mod tools and implement what I learned into a functional campaign level that showed my understanding of the engine. I was the only person who worked on this project.
I included a High Level Pitch design document (linked below) that contains my design intentions and a generalized walkthrough for the level itself.
Summary
I enjoyed taking on the challenge. I feel that it helped me to understand how well I could learn and adapt to a completely new program in a limited time frame. Furthermore, I believe that I will be able to learn even more about Radiant going forward and learn to create levels on other platforms as well. This will leave me well rounded to the variety of programs used across the numerous game companies I will meet and work for. The feedback from the designers and my own experiences with the BO3 mod tools also helped to let me know where I was lacking and in some cases where I over exerted myself with the deadline I was given, All of these things and more will shape my future endeavors for the better and lead me to be the best I can be in the field.
